Hi everyone! I really enjoy road trips to different cities, meeting new people, experiencing new things and smell the roses. I am getting tired of tent camping, so I am thinking of removing the back seat and turning my jeep into a camper which includes a kitchen system and bed platform inside my jeep.

My understanding the Patriot is only rated for 300lbs tongue & 1000lbs towing capacity and that includes driver, passengers and cargo. Jeep made a Patriot that came with a tow package that I think was rated for 2000lbs, but not sure what additional equipment such as suspension, gearing and breaks were included to get it there.
